Gotta Start Prepping for NaNoWriMo!
It’s almost November! And November screams NaNoWriMo! Now last year, I ultimately failed in NaNoWriMo, finishing only 20,000 words. But this year, I plan on hitting that 50,000 word mark. Maybe even going past that.
Since I have to worry about school and all that too, NaNoWriMo is going to be a challenge, same as last year. But I’m determined to finish NaNoWriMo. All 50,000 words of it. I have seven days off in November before school starts again. So I’m going to get a headstart on that. My goal? 2000-3000 words a day (if possible). If that happens, by the end of the month I’d have 60,000-90,000 words, which is mind-blowing (in a good way).
Right now, I’m brainstorming. I’m looking for ideas for what I’m going to write for this year’s NaNoWriMo. Right now, I’m scratching off ideas from my list because I don’t think they’re good enough to write about and not exciting enough to stick to for an entire month. I want this to be something really good, and if things turn out well, it might become (a bestselling novel) a success.
This is going to be my second time going NaNoWriMo, since ignorant me wasn’t aware that there was such thing as a NaNoWriMo back in high school. Shudder shudder.
Along the way, I plan on posting here my updates and such, like word count, my rants on writer’s block, school, more word counts, and stuff, just random stuff.
Other than that, I am pretty excited about this! Are you guys planning on joining NaNoWriMo? If yes, well then good luck to us!
3 days to go before NaNoWriMo!

I am signed up, I too failed to complete the 50,000 in 2009 and skipped last year, so good luck to both of us and I hope you do not suffer any writers block.
